Today Wesham had 27 runners at 8 different venues. Not bad considering we had quite a few travelling for the xc meeting. And apparently another group out on the lash and in no fit state for running this morning 🤣. Fastest today was Steven Gore with his 2nd fastest time ever of 17.59 and fastest female was Emma Lund with 22.39. Best age grade was Nigel Shepherd with 78.23 best female age grade was Tracey Hulme with 75.54. One of our new members Mike Eyre achieved his parkrun pb at Workington 👏👏. Also Tom Nicholson running really well getting another parkrun pb at Preston 👏👏.We had 2 podium finishers with Steve Gore in 2nd and Chris Haines in 3rd. And had 2 sub20 runs from me and Steve Gore. My choice for parkrunner of the day is Vicky Gore mainly for running her 400th parkrun today which is more than any other Wesham member but also she has been doing parkrun for 10 years and today was only 2 seconds off her pb and also got her best ever age grade. Well done Vicky amazing results 👏 👏
