There were plenty of races on last week within reach of the Fylde but Wesham members were not tempted to the Southport Seaside 10k on Sunday, nor the Worsthorne Moor Fell Race or Preston 10-hour ultra race in Moor Park, and neither the Sale Sizzler 5k on Thursday evening or the Gisburn Forest Trail Race in Slaidburn on Saturday over 10k and Half Marathon.
The Wesham monthly handicap took place on Monday, the final qualifying run for the annual Trophy Race later this month. The results will be available next week.
