Each year, Wesham Road Runners receive a number of club places available to our members for the London Marathon. In order to be eligible for a place, members must be able to fulfil the following criteria:
- Have been a fully paid up, first claim member of Wesham Road Runners for at least 1 year prior to the opening of the date for application of the club place(s)
- Have entered the current London Marathon ballot and received a rejection. Proof of this will be required.
- Have taken part in either two cross-country or two Inter-Club events, OR one of each.
- Marshalled at two Wesham Road Runners events.
Where there are more applications than places, the following additional criteria will be considered:
- Applicants who have not run the London Marathon in any previous years.
- Applicants who have not received a club place for the last London Marathon.
